Pure Heroine is the debut album from New Zealander Ella Yelich-O'Connor, better known as Lorde. She was spotted at the young age of 12, singing at a talent show in her hometown near Auckland, and subsequently signed to Universal. She shot to prominence in early 2013 with a hugely popular EP, The Love Club, which produced the single "Royals." The record was written with producer Joel Little and showcases her indie-tinged electro-pop sound.

I saw this young lady on the Ellen Show. I had heard her single a few times on the radio...and I totally loved it. I bought the cd thinking that maybe a couple of the other songs would be good. She totally blew me away. Aside from her age, she wrote lyrics that are raw, emotional, and really hard to sing along to!! It's a beautiful cd, and I highly recommend it to anyone. Just beautiful.
LORDE is amazing. For at age 16, she is a genius. She is incredible as she is live as well. Her songs never get old
Probably the best album of 2013 or like of all time. Bye.
I absolutely love Lorde and this album, but i was very disappointed when i played this record because almost every song was scratched. This is the second time i have ordered a vinyl from barnes and noble and both times it has been completely scratched up.
