Nearly the last remaining member of Olivia Cattenach's family has just died overseas and left her overcome by grief. But when a soldier shows up at her ranch with a final message from her brother, she finds new purpose. Nathan Roldan is as formidable as they come. Bulging muscles and inked to boot, he looks like every bit the bad boy he claims to be. Except, under his shuttered gaze and behind his walls lies a gentle giant. Determined to carry out her brother's wishes, she chips away at Nate's layers and discovers more pain than any person should ever have to endure. And a passion she never dreamed was possible.

He's not the hero she thinks he is...

Nate's mistake got a fellow comrade killed, and a deathbed promise to take care of the guy's sister lands him in Wyoming with the hope of redemption. But he wasn't expecting...her. Beautiful, witty, and sweet, Olivia is everything he doesn't deserve. Born a nothing, he'll die a nothing. Though guilt is a living thing, temptation is too hard to resist. Somehow, she's unleashing his restraint and unearthing feelings he buried long ago. He wants her. More, he's worried he needs her. She's trying to save him, but when she learns the truth, he'll lose the only happiness he's ever known.

"An emotionally raw story with beautiful prose. A compelling read."

It is no secret I get attached to books and characters. When I find a great series, I hold on tight. So whenever I find out Kelly Moran has a new book coming out, I secretly hope it's either a continuation or a "Where are they now?" story for the "Phantom" series. However, I can say with certainty, I'm never disappointed when it's not. In the case of "Redemption", I may have found something to hold on to. The characters are rich in development while the overall story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Some moments, you're laughing, but other moments will have you fighting back tears, telling your co-workers it's just your allergies. Redemption is a beautiful symphony of emotions that you never want to end, but can't wait for the next installment.

One way to describe this book is emotionally beautiful. I won't lie the tears were flowing especially at the end so I recommend to having tissues handy once you get to that part. This book just pulled my heartstrings. Nate, he's a damaged hero who doesn't see his worth. My heart went out to him, but he had two people put into his life to lead him on the path of redemption. This book had me hooked right from the beginning and I literally had a hard time setting this one down. Kelly Moran writes the description of everything so well I had this beautiful picture in my head the whole time I was reading this book. I'm so looking forward to the next book

What a great story! It is a passionate, heartwarming and beautiful journey of loss, love and promise. You will laugh, cry and cheer for Olivia and Nate. This is a well-written story that once you start reading, you will not want to put down. I received an ARC for my honest opinion. Lovely story!

4.75 STARS! Kelly Moran never fails to pull me into a story while also succeeding in keeping me there. Her character development is always stellar and her details (large to minute) create vivid pictures of every person, place and event. I am a detail-loving type of reader and Kelly Moran is just that type of author. I honestly can't believe that this book is under 250 pages, because there is just so much story contained in that amount. There are three main characters in this book - Nate, Olivia and Justin (Olivia's deceased brother.) Justin may be deceased, but his characterization is just as developed and highly significant to the story's arc, as well as Nate and Olivia's healing. In fact, the scenes where he was most prominent were some of the most moving and heartfelt to me. I enjoyed seeing how Justin's manipulation (after his death) brought Nate and Olivia together, knowing it would be a conduit for "redemption." This was a realistic relationship drama/romance that emphasized the loving generosity of others and giving hope and restoration to the broken. I highly recommend this story of true love, healing and redemption. (I voluntarily read an advanced copy of Redemption. This review is my honest and unbiased opinion.)

This story was an emotional roller coaster. It will take the reader through the gamut of emotions while Olivia tries to get over the death of her brother and show Nate what it means to love while trying to heal from his childhood.

Wow! This book is an emotional roller coaster ride! I couldn't put it down. I think I sweated blood for Nate as he struggled with his past the only way he knows how - by withdrawing into himself. Yet when his only friend is dying and asks him to take care of his sister, he doesn't hesitate. He's a true hero in every sense of the word. Olivia is kind, generous, outgoing and strong beyond measure, and when she loves someone, she loves with her whole heart. When the sexual tension starts flowing and the sparks start flying between these two - it's hot, hot hot! Moran tells an unforgettable story!

Favorite Quotes: Nakos had always been placed in the what-if column in her someday mental file. Biological clock aside, she was hesitant to pull out the folder and dust it off. Right this second, he could’ve sworn she was shoving aside shadows in his mind and checking corners for secrets. He gave up. Understanding women, especially this one, was like trying to learn molecular fusion while drinking Jack Daniels. Pointless. If there was the slightest chance I was capable of leaving you, there’s a greater one I never will. This is your world, Olivia. Your home, your family, your friends. I don’t have the foggiest idea what the hell is going on. I just follow you. You’re the only person in my world. My Review: Kelly Moran’s Redemption was a topical, relevant, and thought-provoking read. The storyline was an entertaining, realistic, and well-crafted slow-burn romance; plump with insightful observations, heart-squeezes, and amusing humor. The undercurrent of a yearning attraction simmered slowly on the back burner while the plot developed until the long awaited volcanic boil over occurred that had me gasping and wiping my brow. Snap! Kelly Moran continues to delight me with deftly written, engaging, and seamless stories that capture my attention and move my heart. I savor her intriguing and quirky characters and always leave them feeling more than a bit rueful once I reach the last page.

Redemption by Kelly Moran is contemporary romance that will really tug at the reader’s heartstrings. Ms. Moran has delivered a well-written book and populated it with phenomenal characters. Olivia runs her family’s ranch. Nate was injured in the bomb that killed Olivia’s brother and blames himself. When he is released with a medical discharge, he heads to Olivia’s ranch to deliver a letter from her brother. Olivia and Nate’s story is sometimes sad, sometimes funny, always outstanding with plenty of drama, action, suspense, humor and sizzle. This is a book I couldn’t put down once I started it. I enjoyed reading Redemption and look forward to reading more from Kelly Moran in the future. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Olivia and Justin were close. They lost their parents at a young age and they were both siblings and best friends. Olivia is heartbroken because she lost the person she loved most in the world. Unfortunately Justin died when he was on an army mission. He has a last message for his sister and that's being delivered by Nate, his best friend in the army. Nate's a giant of a man and he looks tough, but he has a good heart. Justin has a last wish, he wants Olivia to take care of Nate. He doesn't have anyone now that Justin is dead and Justin hopes Olivia will look after him. She offers him a job and a room at the family farm, trusting Justin's instincts completely. Nate promised Justin he'd take care of Olivia. That's why he traveled to the ranch. He will keep his promise and will always look after his best friend's sister. When Nate is being welcomed with open arms by everyone on the farm he's feeling overwhelmed. He isn't used to warmth and affection and he doesn't think he deserves it. Guilt is eating away at him and he doesn't know what to do with himself because of it. Olivia slowly breaks down every wall he's ever built around himself. Is Nate ready for this persistent woman and will he give himself a chance to belong somewhere for the first time in his life? Redemption is a beautiful romantic story. I absolutely loved Nate. He's big and strong, he has plenty of muscles, his body is covered in tattoos and his bald head gives him a tough look, but he's incredibly vulnerable underneath. He's chivalrous, kind and caring and he has no idea how wonderful he is. Olivia sees right through him and knows exactly what kind of man she's dealing with. She knows what she's doing when it comes to making others feel better and with her love, determination and willpower she manages to heal a lot of Nate's emotional wounds. They click on many different levels. I loved their deep and meaningful talks, their fun flirting and their amazing sizzling chemistry that almost ignites the pages. Kelly Moran has a fantastic way to express feelings. She peels them off and layer by layer explores every single element. She knows every step of each reaction and that shows. She skillfully describes exactly what's going on in her main characters' hearts and minds. For me that makes her stories incredibly special. The love she writes about is all consuming, it's overwhelming, mesmerizing and terrifying, it's the most gorgeous feeling there is and her main characters have to find the bravery inside themselves to let it in. She describes this process in an original and creative way in each story she writes. Every time the love she writes about is different and each book blows me away. I highly recommend Redemption, it's a brilliant love story that completely melted my heart.

What an emotionally charged love story. This is a wonderful and well written story that takes your breath away. The characters have depth and are well developed. I couldn't help but fall in love with them. It is a sweet and loving romance. As they share pain and sorrow, they learn to live again finding love and happiness. I recommend. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review."   A good story of finding love in the right place at the unconventional way. The storyline was well written with strong characters. Nate and Olivia needed each other but was mourning the death of Olivia's brother, Justin. Both characters were taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions and pain.

Reviewing "Redemption", I am not sure where to start describing just how good this book really is. Trying not to give too many details of Nathan and Olivia's story, I will say this is a book that will be hard to put down. You will want to turn the pages and read it straight through. Unaccustomed to a gentle touch, Nathan's story was so awful and sad from the start, that it is heartbreaking what people can do to a child growing up. He also takes his promise to Olivia's brother, who was killed in action under his watch, very serious. Nathan has never had the benefit of human kindness and finds that in Olivia. She grew up loved and well cared for, and is a nice woman that is loved by everyone. Although they were the focus of the book, there was a rather large support group of characters that enhanced the telling of their story and HEA. Well scripted, with all the added details a reader wants in a story, it was fun, emotional, romantic, and sexy. Although emotional throughout, I cried my eyes out the last two chapters. Not many books can do that to the reader. I would like to thank the author for gifting me "Redemption". My opinion is my own. This is mine. An easy 5 stars!

This poignant story hit the emotions hard and deep and took me for an intense ride where I enjoyed every single word of the story. At times I was in tears, at times smiling, even laughing while still tears running on my face. An emotional experience, that is guaranteed. Olivia Cattenach has faced yet another loss of a loved one during her young life, and while missing her little brother something fierce, she is surviving, thriving, and successful with the family ranch. Her heart is gold, she is kind, generous, considerate, stubborn, independent, tough, and hard-headed. She embraces life with passion, living in the moment and fondly remembering the past. Nathan Roldan was abandoned at birth. He was abused and withheld to fulfill his basic needs while in the system. He hasn't known what it is when someone cares for you, looks after you, worries for you. He is not accustomed to being touched, not even to eat for the pleasure of it. But he is a man of dignity, he holds his word, he is trustworthy, loyal, and hard working. He has so much love, tenderness, protectiveness and kindness inside of him, emotions he is not used to feeling or showing to anyone. The ardent adoration that builds between Nathan and Olivia took my breath away. It is fragile, yet filled with so deep, wild, and wide emotions, feelings that seem to have been building inside of them all their lives. To say that the passion is hot is an understatement, it is fervent, vehement, genuine and true. The secondary characters contribute to the building of a family of the heart. They help to open up the eyes to see the past, accept it, and to move on. They give more meaning to the themes of devotion, trust, and loyalty that builds over time. The story is not just about the amazing love growing and developing between Olivia and Nathan, it's the beginning of the story of the people living at the Cattenach Ranch. Through trust, opening their hearts and minds, sharing their secrets and painful past, rejoicing in the success and finding joy in the everyday living - Olivia and Nathan might fumble and fall on their way to the happiness and blessings they both deserve, but working hard to get what you want is nothing new to either of them, and they are willing to do the hard things, no matter how much it might hurt or scare them at first. I am trying to hold myself back and not gush all over this review, but seriously, this story took my breath away again and again. The emotions in it found a way to my heart, the characters pain and joy of life were tangible, relatable, and profound. I sit here thinking about words like marvelous, wonderful, heartbreaking and stunning when I think about the build up of the plot, the character development, and the intensity, the connection, the kindred feelings I had for the people at the Cattenach Ranch. Once again the author Kelly Moran has blown my mind and heart with a story that will stay with me for a long while. ~ Five Spoons!

My favorite quotes: "Go get dirty, baby girl. And I mean the naked kind." "He was a drool-worthy, panty-drenching, yummy work of masculine art." "An hour in her presence, and he was ready to hit his knees, submit to her every whim." "For a guy who wore layers upon layers of armor, his give-a-shit was showing." My review: Talk about a roller coaster ride WOW. A lot of emotions in this book. Olivia Cattenach dealing with the death of her brother Justin in the military over seas and Nate is dealing with the death of a friend as he blames himself for Justin's death as he was Justin's Superior Officer and some PTSD. Then he meets Justin's sister Olivia Cattenach. She manages to get Nate to talk about a lot of stuff he had buried for a long time, then Nate tells Olivia the truth about how her brother Justin died and Olivia insists he tell her everything. The sex scenes between Nate and Olivia were very HOT. If you want to know how more about this book you truly need to read this awesome book. I truly loved it!!
