This book! I was so excited to see that Grace was getting her own book and could not wait to read it. Grace is all grown up has come home from college and is searching for her next move. She has had to overcome some major struggles in her life and is not sure what is next. Flea is a member of the Dogs of Fire and enjoys his life just the way it is! His world is rocked when he sees that Grace is all gown up. This book has heart and soul written into the story. Grace and Flea have amazing chemistry and are hilarious together! Grace and Flea become stronger together and their love story is so much fun to read. This book has humor, action, alpha males, sassy heroines, steamy with a capital S love scenes and will keep you turning the page. My only complaint is that is had to end! I think that you can read this without reading the rest of the series but why not read the other books… they are just as awesome!

Who needs a TV when there are amazing books like this one to read? I found more excitement and emotion with in the covers of Road to Grace than I ever see in the theater. The only thing missing was the popcorn and soda. Grace's life changed the day she was almost killed at the hand of her own mother. It was Maisie that saved her life by distracting her mother, who then turned the gun on herself. How does a little girl come back from that? Talk about an emotional roller coaster. Grace and Poppy have graduated from College. Grace has been offered a position with the San Francisco Ballet but just can't do it. Fearing life on her own, she moves in with her brother, Finch just in time to see him patched in to the Dogs of Fire. Too bad it won't be easy avoiding her dad. Flea spots Grace from across the room. He remembers comforting her all those years ago. It is strange how emotions can grow without intent or thought. Flea is on an emotional roller coaster. How does he earn Grace's heart? Will the ten year age difference be a barrier? Will her past be the unbreakable barrier? One of the things I love best about Piper Davenport's books is the fantastic trip down memory lane. I get to visit with the members of Dogs of Fire and their extended families. This visit had me biting my nails. One of the members is accused of the unthinkable. He is taking away in cuffs without access to an attorney. The Dogs will stop at nothing to prove his innocence. They recruit Grace's dad, a cop, to aid in the release. It is all hands on deck. But that won't stop Flea from protecting Grace, from loving Grace, from being part of her extended family.

We met Grace in Hatch and Maisie's story, Road to Peace. Grace is best friends with Maisie's daughter Poppy. Following a pretty traumatic event in her early teens, she went off to college with Poppy. Coming back home, she isn't sure what she wants to do with her life, except dancing has to be part of it. When someone from her past comes back around, she isn't sure what to do with the feelings he brings out in her, because she isn't sure what to do about them. Flea is a biker, one who remembers Grace and the events of her trauma, but she's been away at school for a long time. When he sees her again, she knocks him off his feet! He isn't sure what to do about it at first, but it doesn't take him long to sort out how he's feeling and what he wants! I love how amazing Flea is with Grace. Their relationship is just absolutely perfect, and he is so understanding of her issues. He takes them, and knocks them down, one by one. Totally swoon-worthy! This book, like all of the Dogs of Fire books, is packed full of all of the good stuff! Lots of action, excitement, romance, and hot bikers, combine with a strong sense of loyalty and family to make a book that I read in one sitting! After beginning, I just couldn't put it down, and before I knew it, I was at the end, with a big smile on my face! This MC series is not only on my one-click list, but also my re-read list. Definitely one of my go-to series when I start recommending MC series to friends!

Another winner. Loved the story and the characters. Grace had a horrific start in life. She'd worked hard to overcome her resulting PTSD yet wasn't over it. Flea (Billy Jameson) knew her from way back when. She'd returned home turning down an amazing opportunity that wasn't enough to keep her away. The grown-up version captured Flea's attention right away. With patience and his own natural charm, it wasn't long until they'd begun a journey into learning how to care about another. With her brother a newly patched member of the MC and her borrowed parents as longtime members, she knew more than most but not enough about the life. She'd have to learn along the way. Their love was a joy to watch. With family issues on both sides, the two of them manage to find hard fought for trust and family in their relationship. There is a club problem from an unknown enemy that threatens an important brother. Can Flea maintain his personal rules while helping take care of the danger to the club and his brother? The outcome will affect Grace as much as anyone. It becomes a test for their relationship. Although I am in the process of reading the entire series, I didn't have any problem keeping up with the characters and storyline. A cover-to-cover in one sitting read. Couldn't put it down. I recommend this book as well as the series. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
