As a pediatrician and a widow, I find this book speaks of the death of a loved one in a concrete and easy-to-understand manner for even very small children...but I also found that it speaks to me in a simple and heartfelt way that most grief books do not. I will recommend this book for any of my patients and families who are dealing with death in any form. An amazing book with amazing illustrations.

Death of a loved one is tough at any age and for children and adults alike. This book tackles a tough submit in a simple and sensitive way. The illustrations are perfect for the story and I would recommend this book if you need to open a dialogue with a child on a death of a loved one.
