Rosamunde Overton has to find a father for a child to help protect her husbands' estate. He himself is unable to father a child and no child threatens the estate. The man she finds is injured and willing but they can't help but be attracted to each other. It's fun and interesting and I really did care for the characters. I could see her dilemma throughout and I liked the way the story flowed.

Great series. This story of Brand and Rosamunde went way beyond my expectations. Jo Beverly is now at the top of my list along with Stephanie Laurens. Full of action and romance! LORRAINE
