Returning to her summertime home of Mystic Creek, Callie Jamison discovers there's a lot more involved to her grandmother's legacy than a few cabins and some land, including a curse. One that's sure to kick the love right out of her life.
Anteros, dark twin of Eros, is responsible for avenging unrequited love, a job that's been a lot harder since his brother succumbed to ambro-fever and has been running amok shooting all the wrong people, including Anteros.
The clock is ticking, not only on his immortality and Callie's free will, but their hearts as well. Soon they'll each have to decide if the overwhelming attraction they feel is the real deal or if they've simply been 'shafted' and it's all a cruel illusion.

About the Author
Living in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains in the heart of cowboy country with her own link to mythology through a family legend, she has plenty of inspiration to draw on. With her loving (and perpetually patient) family cheering her, Kymber loves to let the mystics and mavericks in her head out to play giving them free rein to create mayhem all over her computer screen.
Nothing makes her day more than when others have as much fun with her characters as she does. She's always happy to share her love of romance, and books in general through the email sign up on her website or via her social media accounts.

A Decent Romance What I Loved: I loved the characters in this story the most. Callie is a strong female character who isn't to be messed with, well, unless you happen to be her own hormones. But as far as relations with other characters go, she sticks up for herself and doesn't just go with the flow. Anteros, or Teran was a fun character, providing insight into the story, and his inner dialogue is almost bitter, in the best way possible. What I Didn't Like: The only real complaint I have is mediocrity. Since one of the main characters is a god, it’s tough to believe it couldn’t have really stood out. Also, a bit of a cheesy ending. My Overall Review: There's not too much to say about this book. It's short, so if you don't have a lot of time, then it's a good choice. There just was nothing... truly special about it- which is saying something when a main character is a freaking god! Shortly after Callie and Anteros meet, Anteros does a little god-magic to be able to pay for his stay, but other than that, and a few inner comments about god-bolts and smiting, he seemed like a normal human. Callie was a strong character, and actually said some pretty awesome things, but it wasn't enough to save the story for me. There's a few spicy scenes here and there, but for the most part it stays pretty mild. And while the ending was suggestive, it was a tad too cheesy to me.
