Snowbound. Sounds so romantic, with visions of cuddling before a roaring fire, hot chocolate spiked with brandy, and a secret elopement.

Wait. What?

My fiancé's father won't stop trying to turn our pending wedding into a three-ring media circus so he can get free publicity for his family's Fortune 500 company. My mother has decided she's done with All Things Wedding and asks her teacup Chihuahua for mother-of-the-bride advice.

They've all gone certifiably mad.

Then the stress from the wedding puts my mother in the hospital, I scream at my future father-in-law in front of a camera crew and the video goes viral, and the romantic wedding that started with Andrew's grand Pride and Prejudice proposal looks less like Jane Austen and more like Dostoyevsky.

So what do you do when you're a fixer and you can't fix something?

You give up on it.

Not on Andrew, silly.

The wedding.

Shopping for a CEO's Wife is the 12th book in Julia Kent's New York Times bestselling Shopping series. As Shannon and Declan enjoy their newlywed bliss, Andrew's father wants to exploit Amanda and Andrew's nuptials, much to Amanda's chagrin. Can she learn to stand up to her future father-in-law and fight for what's right? But the real question is: will Spritzy the teacup Chihuahua end up being a flower girl?

Another great addition to one of my favourite Rom-Com series. Each book can be read as standalone but in this book the whole gang are back together. This book had me gripped from the first page and at times I was laughing so loud I snorted !!!! Amanda and Andrew are trying to enjoy their engagement and plan there wedding but his father has other ideas and everywhere they go the crazy paparazzi seem to know exactly where they are, add in a wacky wedding planner and you have a recipe for disaster, and let's not forget just how competitive Andrew and Drew are who will get hot and sweaty in the childhood bed first or will the treehouse be the place to make out and what about the tugging from a C2 to a need to read the book to find out what that means. I love this couple and their antics, their banter has me laughing out loud and let's be honest sometimes we all need some humour in our life's and Julia Kent knows just how to give you a hilarious rom-com that has enough going on to keep you interested, a great story with a lot of laughs and a lot of loving.

5 star review Shopping For A Ceo's Wife (Shopping for a Billionaire #12) by Julia Kent    Wow, what a great book; I loved this from start to finish. Congratulations, Ms. Kent on a great addition to what is in my humble opinion is a fantastic series. This is the third book which covers the continuing relationship of Amanda and Andrew who may just be my favourite couple of the series. This was an hilarious read, with many laugh out loud moments that had me almost in tears. There was smoking hot romance, humour, frustration and so many odd little moments that I wanted to re read this book again in case I missed something. Amanda and Andrew are struggling with the plans for their impending wedding. His father wants to make it the wedding of the century and capitalize on as much publicity as he can raise, while Amanda's mother seems to be getting more stressed as the plans progress and utter chaos abounds.. The paparazzi are constantly following Andrew and Amanda trying to get compromising photos and tension is mounting, particularly since they both handle the pressure in totally opposite ways. Throw in the competitive relationship between Andrew has with his brother Declan and you know you are in for a bumpy yet hilarious ride. Every time I finish one of these books, I desperately want to read the next one straight away. This is one of those series that is absolutely addictive, I just want more and more. I absolutely adore Andrew and Amanda and was thrilled that they finally got to have the wedding that THEY wanted and I am eagerly awaiting the next release in the series.

As I continued to laugh through this latest book, I was also overwhelmed by a little sadness as Amanda and Andrew worked through the madness of their wedding. I thought the warmth she felt towards her mother and her unresolved feeling towards her Dad made Amanda very real in her dealings towards Andrew and his family. I can't wait for more in this series!

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! Julia does not disappoint. As soon as I started reading this book, I could not put it down. Paparazzi were crazy. Such jerks. James was also a jerk. He only cared about himself. Enough said. I was laughing so much, when I read the conversation between Carol, Marie, Amanda & Josh about Josh being a "Tugger." LOL Totally hilarious! ( Thanks to Julia I learned something new today. ) Poor Amanda. Nothing was going her way. At least, she had Andrew. Such a hottie! They were such a cute couple! No matter the crazy stuff happening around them ( also to them ), they were there for each other. Awww! I loved the book, the storytelling, and the characters. Great ending! I can't wait to read the next book.

I have to admit Andrew McCormick is my favorite McCormick in Julia Kent's Shopping for series. Andrew even though he's still competitive he's more vulnerable and his youngest brother antics make his humor different. Amanda, the Heroine, has her amusing moments but they aren't as broad nor over-the-top as her best friend Shannon's. She's a more serious heroine. I think because her mother is so grounded and being a only child had her grow up a little faster. In "Shopping for a CEO's Wife" Amanda deals with pushy paparazzi who also target her and her shy mother. She's having to acclimate to being the fiancée to a multi-billionaire. Getting a monthly allowance that is more than someone's yearly salary is weird after pinching pennies. The worst thing is she feels lonely having no one who understands her feelings. Andrew is fabulous with his understanding, comforting, and distractions.  Julia Kent balances the seriousness, in "Shopping for a CEO's Wife", with its comedy fabulously. For every stressful event there's a lighthearted one. Declan and Andrew's competition regarding having sex in their respective childhood bedrooms with their women. Precedes James announces he's selling the estate their mother made into a home. Or Declan baiting Pam to pushing Amanda and Andrew for grandchildren. When her responses are laid-back, Declan screams, "THIS IS NOT FAIR! YOU GET THE GOOD MOTHER-IN-LAW!" After which there's a terrifying almost fatal encounter with the paparazzi. Therefore, the pace of "Shopping for a CEO's Wife" is rhythmic frantic and calm, brisk and unhurried. The storyline is intriguing, romantic, and oh so very sexy. We get a set up for an Amy and Hamish's book. And some amusing character work with Shannon's sister Carol, her mother Marie, and Josh. We can't forget Pam, Spritzy, James, Hamish, and Terry. The stress level in this book tremendously challenging on Amanda, more so than others, because of how her mind works. Because she's a "Fixer" she reads peoples expressions and emotions then mentally catalogs them connection them to the situation. When she's in a situation which there's no solution for (i.e.: the paparazzi) it's overwhelming. Or when her attention is divided, for an example both Andrew and her mother are in need of assistance. She's distressed. Who does she "fix" first? As a "Fixer" she assesses the current situation and visualizes the next step and the following 12 steps ahead. However dealing with a narcissistic wild card like James stymies her. Sometimes the "fix" is not to fix. In "Shopping for a CEO's Wife" the focus is solely on Amanda's point of view, Andrew's the sanctuary and stability. The giver of the insanely hot sex. That's an extremely important role. And there is wedding in the book. And a whole lot of crazy things happen to a lot of crazy people. There is, however, no dog as flower girl. Well, one book can't have everything, after all.

This is book #12, from the amazingly funny Shopping For A Billionaire series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. It will contain spoilers, and you will have greater understanding, should you read the series in order. Andrew & Amanda have been though enough already. Now, as they plan their wedding the press and extended family are on their backs wanting the wedding their way. Has everyone on earth, including her mother forgotten who is really getting married here? Amanda has had it. With everyone - literally everyone - wanting a piece or a picture of her, it is getting to be too much. She has the perfect line in the book. "I didn't fall in love with a CEO. I fell in love with a man." Swoon. This is another of some of the best romance books ever written. I am a firm believer that all lover's of romance should get this series. I laugh, I cry, my breath stops, and my heart starts beating again. I loved every page! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

I love Andrew and Amanda. I couldn't wait to see how a wedding for them would play out after the amount of time they spent going back in forth early on. With the constant attack from the paparazzi and a meddling soon-to-be father in law that makes Marie's antics look like a walk in the park, it amazing that these two still wanted to get married. There were a few times that I wondered if Amanda might just be better off hitting the bricks but then I remembered how absolutely perfect Andrew and Amanda are together and pulled for them to stand up for what they wanted. This book had me feeling everything: laughing until I cried, crying for their pain, and everything in between. Every book in this series is better than the one before it and I can't wait to see what's up for them next! *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

Julia Kent has done it again. It amazes me that Julia is able to continue to write books that are funny, engaging and make you want to take an interest in the characters and their lives. You get background into Andrew and Declan's early home life, growing up in the family home which is kept as a shrine to their mother who died when they were younger, and a look at how their controlling father tries to take over their wedding and their lives. Andrew and Amanda have a wild ride at a ski resort and they have trouble with the paparazzi who go to great lengths to take the perfect candid shot of the lovebirds. Well worth the read - it can be read as a standalone but why would you want to miss out on all that fun.

Shopping For A CEO’s Wife, another in the vastly popular Shopping For A Billionaire series, is the epitome of romantic comedy. Extremely witty, wildly romantic, and absolutely enchanting, this book sets the bar at an impossible level for romantic comedy, one that no one can surpass save for Julia Kent herself. The plot is engaging, the imagery vivid, and the characters phenomenal. These characters that I have so fallen in love with over the course of the series draw you into the story like no others. They are so real and raw and beautifully flawed in all the best ways. You just can't help but become invested in their lives, and rooting for them becomes second nature. This book will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you believe in love all over again. Beyond that, it just makes you feel good. Period. What more could you really ask for? I very highly recommend this book and anxiously await the next book in the series, Shopping For A Billionaire's Baby. *I received an ARC of this book from the author and voluntarily chose to review. All opinions are my own.

Highly entertaining, Laugh Out Loud, steaming hot, Can't wait to marry you and start blazing our own path, gotta have you now romance. Not exactly sure how she does it, but this series just keeps getting better and better with each new adventure. (just when I firmly believe she can't possibly top the last one she inserts "tugging" into the normal flow of conversation.) Amanda and Andrew’s nuptials are turned into a all out war between James, the Media and the used to be happy couple (can they be happy again). Andrew's father really needs a new hobby to take his time up now that he has stepped down as CEO and he decides he just might have a future in television... (and he is all to willing to use any means necessary) So much for a small, quite affair. Just can't get enough of this insanely fun group of people. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars. (needs like 10)

Wherever there's chaos, hilarity and a rainbow of liveliness, Amanda and Andrew can't be far behind. Ms. Kent revisits her kooky heroine and starchy hero with Shopping for a CEO's Wife, from her Shopping for a Billionaire series. I know my day is about to get a little brighter and a lot less stressful when I delve into the pages of this series. How can it not? This time around, family togetherness is reeking havoc with that young and in love glow. Can the duo that has weathered some of the most unusual and comedic obstacles to date, survive their over the top families? It may seem like you're losing your mind but in reality, you've actually lost your heart. How can a reader not love that?

Shopping for a CEO's Wife (Book #12) Another great book in The Shopping Series by Julia Kent. This book stands alone, though there was at least one reference that I did not "get", because I've only read two (I believe) of the previous books in this series. The two I read were more focused on Shannon and Declan also. I really enjoyed seeing how Amanda and Andrew (Mandy & Andy) worked through their Wedding Issues caused by Andrew's Father. I Just LOVED The Brotherly Banter and Competitions of who will "Do It" 1st. Who will do what first? Everything and Anything, pretty much. It sounds like that will continue in the next book also, which I cannot wait to read. Great Job Mrs. Kent! I was given an ARC copy of this book to read and review if I chose to do so. I was not compensated in any way for this review. It is My Thoughts and opinions on this book.
