Director Nora Ephron had a major role in compiling this successful soundtrack album of romantic ballads. Contributions from Jimmy Durante, Dr. John, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Tammy Wynette, Joe Cocker and Carly Simon are combined with new recordings from Harry Connick, Jr. (whose "A Wink a Smile" copped an Oscar nomination) and a particularly soulful rendition of "When I Fall in Love," performed by Celine Dion and Clive Griffin. Their duet, extravagantly produced by David Foster, caps a soundtrack that's as mellow and soothing as the mood of the Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan box-office hit.Highly recommended for romantics of all ages.

What a great CD. So many different syles and artists. Wonderful to listen to on a vacation with the family.
I think this is a great cd. The music is older but it is soooooo relaxing and soothing. The kind of music you can sing along with no matter what mood your in at the time. It has a lot of feeling.
The music just fits into the movie wonderfuly. I'm in my 30's and I just fell in love with the music right along with the movie. It is one of my all time favorites.
