The man who detonated the Latin Explosion of '99 returns with the scorching Sound Loaded, a 14-track continuation of his 35-million-selling English-language debut. With the same production team in place, including "Livin' la Vida Loca" authors Robi Draco Rosa and Desmond Child and producer Emilio Estefan Jr., the strapping Ricky once again gets hearts (and hormones) pumping the world around with his signature blend of Anglo and Latin pop flava. With hits from Santana, Jennifer Lopez, and Marc Anthony establishing the commercial viability of syncopated Spanglish sounds, Ricky need only replicate the intensity of his debut. And replicate he does. Sharp flamenco guitar quickly yields to the pounding, hyper-hetero surf-ska uproar of "She Bangs" (offered in both English and Spanish). To those still livin' la vida loca, it's a familiar and infectious sound, with a girl that "wear[s] me out like a pair of shoes" and "looks like a flower/but...stings like a bee." The title track follows suit with wild brass bedlam and hard-rocking vocal harmonies as Ricky "slip[s] into the funk like a sweet cologne." "Jezabel" likens itself to the slow burn of Marc Anthony's "I Need to Know" with its hard, rumbafied drum rumble and spiky violins, while "The Touch" is an epic ballad of the first order. Backed by sultry, swelling strings and horns on the torrid tropical sway of "Saint Tropez," he's every Latin lover fantasy realized in full. There's no sophomore slump in evidence here. Ricky Martin has once again brought all his love and fire, and it's Sound Loaded.

Ricky has done it again!!! The latin heart throb is even more versatel in the collection ''Sound Loaded''. Here he gives us two version to two of his songs. In any language sounds great loaded or otherwise. ''She Bangs'' is hot in both. The Latin community will never be the same. He has given Latin artists everywhere a new standard. The umppa music is gone forever with this!! The ballad ''Come to Me'' is also excellent in both Spanish and English. ''If you ever saw her'' Just to taste her is never enough! a diva theme song. All in all it is a refreshing collection. It is gear twoard young lonely women, like Linda Rondstat was geared twoards lonely guys.

I bought this CD because I heard Ricky Martin & Christina Aguilera¿s duet ¿Nobody wants to be Lonely¿. Not much of a fan of Ricky, but I bought the CD anyway solely for that one song figuring I could live with the rest and maybe even find another jewel. To my chagrin the version of the song on the CD isn¿t the same one getting all the airplay. Terrible marketing strategy! I¿ll never chance buying another Ricky Martin CD again. A waist of 16 bucks!

I'm so in love with this cd! I think that is one of the best albums realised on 2000. From 2000 to 2002 I listened this album every single day. And I love it!!! It simply GREAT!!!

Yes, RICKY has done it, he was able to make his new CD a success, as of now he has sold more than 5 million copies of his new release & there is a good reazon for this, his CD is fun, full of wonderful music, danceable tunes and romantic ballads. He has fused sounds from all over the world into his music whitch makes this CD his best to date, therefore making him more endearing to me and to all his fans trough out the entire world. My personal favorites are: AMOR, Come to me, If you ever saw her and One night man. (PURE ADRENALINE!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Forget all those really soapy ballads he does so poorly. Get this for the hot tunes Ricky really bangs away at: Loaded, Jezebel, If You Ever Saw Her, and [I can't sit still to this song!!!] Are You in It for Love!

I would have rated it a five-star rating, but what I thought was a duet with Christina Aguilera turned out an accoustic version. That was the only down side to this CD. Other then that, I thought that this was an awsome album. If you want the duet with Christina, get the Best Of CD. It is kinda spendy, but it's worth it, trust me. My favorite songs on this album would have to be She Bangs, Nobody Wants to be Lonely (it's actually a very good version), Amor and Jezabel.

I think this new, refreashing CD is wonderful! The 1st time I heard it I knew that I had to have it. It really did make me wanna get up and dance! I think this CD is one of many that touched me. I especially enjoy the song, ''She Bangs.'' It has a great new beat that will last for centuries to come!!

Ricky had me shakin' my bon bon and singing 2 or 3 songs after one play. Enjoy him, you'll regret not having his music in your car or at a party.

SOUND LOADED is Ricky Martin's best album to date. ''She Bangs'' & ''Nobody Wants To Be Lonely'' are already classic tracks. What brings in the great International flavor are the 3 Best Songs ''Saint Tropez'', ''One Night Man'', & ''Are You In It For Love''. ''Saint Tropez'' is such a hot song. ''One Night Man'' gives you the Dance feeling of the Spanish-Israeli group ALABINA. Lyrics to ''Are You In It For Love'' are good and the ''Besame Mucho'' resemblence works. Other tracks like ''Cambia La Piel'', ''Amor'', ''The Touch'' are nice tracks too. SOUND LOADED is a must...not only for Ricky Martin fans....but fans of hot latin and european music!!

The newest album from Ricky Martin is fantastic. It contains songs that make you want to get up and shake your bon-bon. And then there are songs that are sweet and mellow, which do a great job showing off his talented voice. I thought he couldn't put out an album as good as the first, but he proved me wrong!

Well, here he goes again! Another hit CD for Ricky. This is a really great CD, Loaded is bound to hit #1. I love the way Ricky mixes the horns with a rock beat.

I love SOUND LOADED. Ricky Martin has released something in himself, and it is wonderful. He realizes that he doesn't have to apologize to his Spanish-speaking fans for singing in English and that he doesn't have to apologize to his English-speaking fans because he loves Latin rhythms. The musical arrangements are much more sophisticated than on the first English-language album, and I love how he has included sounds from around the world: the Spanish guitar, the middle Eastern vocal, the Caribbean drum beat. I can't wait for the tour!
