Book 2 of the Electric Series.

I’ve fallen for Taylor.

When we first met, I was an idiot and didn’t realize she was a bombshell. But when I kissed her, sparks flew.

Not sparks. Fireworks.

I’ve tried to deny my feelings for weeks, but I can’t keep doing it. Relationships aren’t for me, not after the way I got my heart crushed.

But I can’t help wondering if a relationship would be different with Taylor.

Maybe it would.

But then an unnecessary obstacle comes my way.

Volt and Taylor continue to dance around each other. They try dating other people and continue to try and deny their feelings. Every time they take a step forward they take two steps back. A story filled with rollercoaster ups and downs, passion, love, friendship, and hidden feelings.

This book was slightly annoying for me, it is primarily because of the whole back and forth game that seems to be going on with Taylor and Volt. They don’t want to admit their feelings. Gah. You’re killing me here, just admit your feelings! They have so many people telling them and yet they don’t want to admit. I had moments of banging my head against a wall in frustration. They clearly have this connection and they seem intent on ignoring it. I have considerable levels of patience but when it comes to this, I can see my levels of patience rapidly diminishing. I am in love with these two but at the same time I just dislike the repetition. It annoys me and I’m hoping that the next book is going to be better because this one didn’t quite work for me but it’s not a crap book. It just needs to stop with the back and forth. For a new series, it’s a worthy addition and I’ll look forward to reading the next book. 3 stars

Spark is book two in the Electric Series. This romance story continues with more suspense, more drama, more chemistry between the two main characters, and so many unknowns. Just when you think you what what is going on, the author adds another twist to throw you off. The questions just keep piling up as the story unfolds and by the end you are left captivated, intrigued, consumed, and mystified. I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of this book.
