Michael Gary Harrison's book of musings and prayers, in the form of 479 poems, is a powerful statement of one man's love of God. Using words we have probably all used, but put together in ways we never imagined, Mr. Harrison praises God, confesses his unworthiness for His love freely given, thanks God for the love shown to us in the person and sacrifice of His Son, and searches for the meaning in his life of that love, that person, and that sacrifice. Whether the profoundly brief "Repent" or the profound "Immanuel Raised", I look forward to reading and re-reading each entry for the new and deeper meanings I experience. Just as David was known as "a man after God's own heart," so will Mr. Harrison become known as his poems are shared and his book is passed from friend to friend. "ndhthephd"

Michael Gary Harrison pours out everyday believers' prayers in his easy to read poems. Like King David, Harrison's poems voice our praise, our fears, our worries, our victories. Wonderful to use daily as a reflection or as a vehicle to connect with scripture on the same topic. Highly recommended!
