Executive secretary Sally Lindsay finally gets her first real estate assignment when her boss sends her out of state to inspect a property the company might purchase. In route, she meets a handsome stranger, Jeff Randall, who is coincidently going to the same small town, and eagerly guides her through her first travel experience. In North Martinsville, they meet flamboyant local, Mandy Johnson, who keeps interrupting their time together by insisting on taking Sally on scenic tours of the area.
Sally's real estate company is stalling, forcing her to stay longer in this historic little town than she expected. To make things worse, Sally keeps having a terrifying, recurring nightmare, which has suddenly intensified and is coming much more often. Can her new friends help expose the secret that is causing the dream and put an end to it?

About the Author

Virginia "Sue" Foreman began writing at age fifteen. Inspired by her tenth grade English teacher, Betty Hinton, she started her first novel, convinced it was possible to create a character that was sympathetic even though forced to live a life not so sympathetic.
Born in Springfield, Ohio, where she now resides, Sue moved with her family to a farm near Mechanicsburg, Ohio at an early age, where she lived until going off to get her Bachelor's degree at Tennessee Temple University. After marrying her late husband and having three sons, she worked at data entry and secretarial jobs to supplement the family income when not being a full time mom.
After raising the kids and being alone for nineteen years, she met and married her current husband, adding two daughters to her family. Now in retirement, Sue has finally found time for writing. She takes on-line courses regularly for the fun of it when not busy with her church, husband, and their two cats.
