Tactical Magik (Immortal Ops)

Book Five in the Immortal Ops Series.

Eadan Daly has thrown himself into the role of the sixth Immortal Ops team member, even though it wasn't supposed to be a permanent position, and has forged a brotherhood of sorts with the other men. When he's asked to go on a solo mission for the Paranormal Security and Intelligence Branch-PSI, for short-he's not so sure he wants his old job back.

Inara Nash is a survivor, doing what she must to get by. On the run for years from an organization she doesn't fully understand, she tries to stay under the radar. When a blond hunk arrives and claims he's her savior, she suspects her luck might have finally run out. Sure, he's hot and looks like he'd be good in bed, but there is something almost magikal about him that defies reality. And if there is one thing she's learned during her life in the paranormal underground, it's that you never trust a magik

I am so hooked on this series! Kicking myself for waiting so long to start reading it. Not one bad thing to say about anything I have read so far. Excellent premise. Excellent character development. Excellent storytelling. I wish I had time to binge read every book by Mandy M Roth!

It is a great series different from other romance. It gives you. A view of military and family and love with supernatural.

This book is not worth the money. The story seems like it was written in a hurry and is only 95 pages. Very disappointed. The series started out really good, but each book became shorter and shorter. I'm sorry I purchased the remaining 3 books. I'm sure they are just as short and rushed as this one.

Eadan did not want to transfer to I-Ops seven months ago but now he loves working with the guys. Even Roi, now mated to is ex-wife.  However, he has received orders to return to PSI for a solo op. And his body is reacting weirdly to photos of his retrieval target! Inara has bounced around the foster system and is now out on her own. Forced to live on the street, she was looked after by a former op, "Jimmy" and he taught her to fly under the radar and be safe from the 'men in black' as she called them. Inara can't believe when she sees Eadan standing in front of her, she has been drawing him for what seems like forever. I loved being back with the guys. The sarcastic banter and close relationship they share are well written and the teasing is so familial!!! Great writing and another fabulous addition to the PSI/I-Ops world!!!!

~ 3 Tactical Magik Stars ~ Tactical Magik is book five in the Immortal Ops series by Mandy M. Roth. What I love about these books is they are short, quick, full of action and sex. The perfect book for anytime of day It has been quiet sometime since I read book four Strategic Vulnerability , so I felt a little lost at the beginning, but once I started to remember who everyone was things picked up and I feel right back into the Immortal Ops world. It was fun catching up with the I-Ops team. They are like family to each other. The banter between them is fun and enjoyable. Eden and Inara complement each other, but the insta-love “mating” did all the work in this one for them. I did enjoy their story just not as much as the previous installments. The writing was not as great as the other books. Things felt forced and rushed at times, but still I had a good time reading this book and look forward to the next.
