Just got my journal today (ordered it online) and it's incredible. I see it's sold out online so I'm going to drive to my local B&N today (still in stock there) and pick up a bunch of copies as holiday gifts. The construction of the journal is great–thick paper, coil binding (but hidden behind a book cover so you can't see it), thick black cover, built-in toggle to keep the book shut. I love how it lies flat and you can rip out pages as needed. Now, the design. The first few pages explain the layout and why they designed the layout this way. Then all of the other pages are daily layouts. It's more of a journal/planner cross, but undated with no calendars. Each day there is a 2-page layout and there's about 10 quick things to fill out. Energy gauge, plan how to raise your energy, pick a top project (why it matters and when you will work on it), gratitude, the time you will stop working, brain dump, daily planner with times (like a schedule), and then what I think is the coolest part–a "confidence corner." Each day you get a really quick challenge to do. The next day, the journal prompts you to reflect on the challenge (or why you skipped it!). From what I see, all of the challenges are about 5 minutes or less–but are intended to snap you out of your daily routine in a small way. Overall, I CAN'T wait to dive into this journal. It looks really expensive/nice so it's a really nice gift too.
