Forged masterpieces. Hidden messages. A desperate swan song.

When world-renowned nonverbal communication expert Doctor Genevieve Lenard wakes up in an unknown location, drugged and kidnapped, it pushes the limits of her autism coping skills.

For the last year, Russian philanthropist and psychopath Tomasz Kubanov has been studying Genevieve just as she and her team have been studying him. Now forged paintings and mysterious murders are surfacing around her team, with evidence pointing to one of them as the killer.

Genevieve knows Kubanov is behind these senseless acts of violence. What she doesn’t understand are the inconsistencies between his actions and the cryptic messages he sends. Something has triggered his unpredictable behaviour, something that might result in many more deaths, including those she cares for. Because this time, Kubanov has nothing to lose.

Absolutely LOVE this series! !! Was hooked from book 1, The Gauguin Connection.  I highly recommend this series, it has so much has to offer and is not just the same old thing!

This book is a happy balance of mystery, action, and romance. The heroine, Genevieve, is really an interesting character. This is the 3rd book in the series and I am now hooked! The secondary characters are quirky and interesting. If I had to find a flaw: the story does contain some minor logically/situational errors. But nothing cringeworthy. Overall a fun read! Can't wait to start book 4 .

The continued character development keeps me reading. Towards the end, however, the plot points become predictable,

Fun, interesting view from the autistic persuasion! Enjoyable and a view you might not see otherwise!

I am addicted to this series. I love all the characters. I will say that this book wasn't quite as good as the first two (hard to keep up with all the clues) but I still highly recommend it.

I've just finished book 3 in this series & it hasn't disappointed me. Learning to love each character adds to the enjoyment of the story. Begin with the 1st in the series & prepare to be hooked. Starting number 4 now!

sometimes the smart characters don't make very smart decisions, but very fun, and interesting twists, even when you've already figured out mostly what's coming. i want to read them all!

Good Story.

This might be the most tedious book I have read in years. Drags on with superfluous detail. Don't bother.

One of the best authors that I have read. The action never stops. Waiting for the next one.

From the first book I was caught up by these characters and their personalities . The plot lines are very contagious and I wanted to keep reading when each book ended and that is what I did. Thus far I have just purchased book 3 and will be enmeshed in it shortly. Love this series, this writer and her wonderful ability at storytelling . Thanks for the enjoyable hours . Kelly

Totally enjoyable read with highly believable characters interacting in ways that aren't simply entertaining – but thought provoking too. Main character Genevieve's autism doesn't get in the way of her being kind, lovable and also loving and the way she keeps herself from lapsing into episodes of retreat is both fascinating and admirable. The cast of characters is an exciting mixture: an upstanding businessman, a super-model looking woman hacker, an upper-echelon police officer, a couple of thieves and Genevieve – chief brain, fact-finder, strategist and problem-solver. Very charming, didn't want it to end.
