The Gallagher's of Sweetgrass Springs Boxed Set Two Where to begin on this set? The first book is about Jackson and Veronica who were high school sweethearts but separated by forces beyond their control. Jackson fled Sweetgrass Spring when he was tossed out of his home and kept to himself for years. Veronica meanwhile found herself in “trouble” and David, a friend of hers and Jackson’s, stepped up and married her. Not a totally selfless act as he too had always loved her. Years passed and so did David. Jackson was summoned back to Sweetgrass Spring and his and Veronica’s story picks up again from there. The second book was Bridger and Penelope’s story. Both are wounded and lost souls. They meet and form an instant attraction. Circumstances sent both of them to Sweetgrass Springs and their story continues there. Book three draws a lovely conclusion to both these couples’ stories. Sweetgrass Springs is a place anyone could find happiness. A place that always makes me warm and fuzzy and I love each story that takes place there. Now I need a HEA for Tank, Veronica’s big brother. I’m hoping his story is coming soon. Either way there is no going wrong with a book written by Jean Brashear. There hasn’t been one that I haven’t enjoyed fully the only thing I don’t like is when I’ve read them all and have to wait for her to write a new one! I was given an ARC of this set and reviewed with great enthusiasm. I wish I could give more that five stars but.......

As I have posted reviews on each of these books separately it seems redundant to post the reviews here, so I will just say that if you like standalone books with recurring characters, these are books you will love. This is the second grouping of three books and there is also a set about the cousins which I love. I think I have read 95 percent of these books and I always look forward to the next one. Book four is Jackson's and Victoria's story, probably one of the most poignant of all the books. Books five and six are great too, but Victoria and Jackson will steal your heart

I have read all of the books in this series and have enjoyed them. I especially like reading box sets or collections as you can go from one to another without stopping. This series has characters from previous stories showing up in the current books and I like reading about what is happening with these characters. I like the feeling of "family" with all of the characters. This set includes Texas Rebel, Texas Blaze, and Texas Christmas Bride. I don't know if there will be more coming for this series but I sure hope so!

This is a fantastic collection of 3 of the Sweetgrass Springs stories and a great way to catch up. Each of these stories will entertain you and leave a smile on your face. I highly recommend this set! Includes the following stories: Texas Rebel: I love this series and after reading this book Jackson Gallagher is one of my favorite characters. Seventeen years ago he left Sweetgrass Springs penniless, shamed, and alone. He left behind all his family including his twin sister and the love of his life Veronica. His surprise reappearance throws his family, the town, and especially Veronica into a tailspin. This story is emotional, heartwarming, and even painful at times, but it was a book I simply couldn't put down. Texas Blaze: The magic of Sweetgrass Springs continues as Pen Gallagher returns looking for a soft place to land and finding it in the arms of the rugged firefighter Bridger Calhoun. What starts out as a fun time with no strings quickly turns into something neither of them were expecting. Great characters and a fun, nice paced story made this an excellent read. Texas Christmas Bride: Excellent story that gives us a great follow up on the couple's we met in Texas Rebel and Texas Blaze. Jackson is ready to finally marry the woman he has loved all his life. When Veronica agrees to marry him this Christmas, the whole town of Sweetgrass Springs comes together to help make it happen. With all the love in the air can Bridger finally convince Penny to become his wife soon?

I love visiting Sweetgrass Springs. Even with the obstacles the couples have to overcome, you still get the same feel good chemistry. The town is full of alpha men who appreciate their strong, independent women. Texas Rebel Jackson is back in Sweetgrass to the shock of the town. Jackson and Veronica have a ton of baggage to overcome as he tries to melt her icy wall of defense, mend fences with the his siblings, and come to accept how the people in Sweetgrass feel about him. The kids also help to make you smile on this story. This book also provides a little intrigue and suspense regarding Jackson's company. Texas Blaze Jackson's twin, Pen, figures in this book and her relationship with Bridger. Two people with very different ideas of what they want in both a relationship and their future. Pen and Bridger are combustible. Really enjoyed their dialogue, both being somewhat smart a$$ed. They share their secrets and realize together they have the strength to conquer their problems. Texas Christmas Bride This pulls the first two books together. It could be read as a standalone, but since it is part of the set, that makes it so much better. The story emphasizes what the people of Sweetgrass are all about. You also get to revisit the Gallaghers of Morning Star, and the Marshalls. I voluntarily read, reviewed, and thoroughly enjoyed these books.
