The Game Evil Plays is a quick read filled with action and tension. Robbie is a young boy who doesn’t like his new house very much and I can understand why. I loved Robbie’s reaction upon first glance of the home because it all seemed very realistic. Even better was the entire detailed recap of the events that took place there. Dale’s character was sadistic and very entertaining to read. He took me to a dark place that I would never want to go and thoroughly creeped me out. The detail was fantastic. I just wish the ending were a little better. It’s the classic tale of good versus evil. It is a bit cliché but I won’t give away any spoilers. All in all I enjoyed it. Kudos to the author, R.L. Stover. Thanks for the adventure.
