The Gift That I Can Give is not only delightfully illustrated (you know how much weight that holds with me!) with a little ginger child that she relates to, but it shows that we don’t have to wait to be bigger, stronger, better or smarter to make a big difference in our own little corner of the world. It talks about all the ways that a child might be able to do to help others. In the end, giving and sharing our unique blend of love and joy are the best gifts we can give! Each item is relatable and engaging. The pictures are bright and imaginative. Everything about it endears it to both the parent and the child, and we are delighted with it!

This book is one of the sweetest books I’ve ever read! How many times have we as mothers told our kids they couldn’t do something because they’re “too little?” Well this book is here to say even though they’re little, they can still move mountains. Written in a beautifully illustrated, durable board book, Katie Lee Gifford gives children hope that even something as “little” as an extra hug, or a visit to a sick friend, can be a gift to make someone’s life better. This book is so sweet, I want to buy a copy for every little one I know!!

The Gift That I Can Give for Little Ones is a heartwarming children's book written by Kathie Lee Gifford and illustrated by Julia Seal. Within twenty-six pages, this board book features creatively sweet illustrations along with a focus on how to make a difference and how each person is uniquely special. According to the back cover copy, this book "will help children understand that they can be kind and help others at any age." The Gift That I Can Give for Little Ones is an easy-to-read book that's geared toward young children, particularly ages three to six. Note: I received this book from Book Look Bloggers, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

The Gift That I Can Give is a wonderful book with a great message! I appreciate that the gifts suggested included things that any child can do, not requiring specific talents or abilities. It was a great reminder to children that God has blessed them with a gift (or many gifts) and they should share it with as many people as possible. I can only hope that this book will help to create a mindset in kids that will carry over into adulthood. What a better society we would have if everyone remembered that we have gifts that can build others up. With Christmas coming, this would make a great present for any child. I received an advance PDF copy of the book from the publisher.
