In this heart-pounding suspense novel set in the same world as Nest, #1 New York Times bestselling author Terry Goodkind introduces the world to his most unforgettable and deadly character yet.

Angela Constantine is a girl born broken.

When Angela was young, before she came to realize she had a rare ability, she was a rather ordinary girl. At least, that was what everyone said. But Angela is anything but ordinary. The daughter of a meth addict, she is convinced she was born a freak. Haunted by an abusive childhood, she was forced to become a woman far too soon. And in the process, she became more.

Angela Constantine has a secret life.

Angela juggles multiple jobs to live a secluded life in a cabin in the mountains. But she also lives a secret life, right under everyone’s noses. Because her family’s bloodline carries the ability to recognize killers, she adopts a solitary, violent existence in service of her own, personal mission in life. When Angela unexpectedly finds herself the prey of a group of international terrorists, she is the only one who knows the truth of what they are about to do. She might look like an unlikely hero. She might also be our only hope.

Angela Constantine is . . .The Girl in the Moon.

Soooo good! I found this author when I first began to learn to love reading and it’s works like this that remind me why I still do. (I have seen some reviews that say he repeats himself a lot but I gotta tell you I read Danielle Steele’s The Duchess, -I loved that too lol- but talk about repetition)

This book was intense! I loved it. Angela is fascinating in so many ways. I love how bad-ass she is, and for all of the right reasons! The story sucked me in and had my blood pressure up, but not in that maddening way that I hate. My heart raced, and I had fun learning what made Angela tick, and wondering what she could possibly do next. I got angry right along with her and felt her frustrations, but then, Wow! I can't tell you too much about that, without major spoilers. She's awesome! For those of you who like his Sword of Truth series, you'll be interested to know that Kahlan in the Con Dar is a children's tale in comparison.

It has been a good bit since I picked up a book and did not want to put it down. Work and sleep kept getting in the way of reading this book. It is a page burner and one of the best reads I have had in a while. From the first page to the last it grabs hold of you and will not let go. This book is worth every minute it takes you to read it.

Hell of a fun read. Nice when the Right folks win.

Basically a good story, fast read. A little repetitive in places.

Not a very complex read: Introduction, demonstration, problem, struggle, respite, big problem, partial resolution, nasty problem, vengeance, oops return to the big problem, endgame, vindication. Very quick and linear progression in storytelling. The heavy critical undercurrent regarding the corrupting nature of power, influence, and politics did not go unnoticed. Ah, but we miss Richard Rahl.

I really enjoy this author but I didn’t think I would like to book do the subject matter as I am a science-fiction and fantasy reader, however the storyline was wonderful and the story itself was very entertaining well written and had a great ending.

My first read on Angela Constantine, so it was almost a turn-off during the first few chapters, until it got interesting with the very relative developments on the premise of the story. Learned a lot and got to appreciate the Dark Angel even more.

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. It is original and creative, but kinda gory at times. I gave it 4 stars because it could have been about 100 pages shorter. Mr. Jordan tends to get very repetitive at times. I found myself skimming paragraphs that continually has the same descriptions or repeated information already given. Having said that, I am looking forward to reading more about the girl in the moon.
