Ben Brattler lives the good life at the top of the world!
Ben Brattler, 29, is a handsome athlete who regularly practices Aikido (Japanese martial art). He lives the good life: lavish parties, fancy restaurants, and a dream job in his father's advertising company. The world is his oyster; nobody can resist him. Beautiful women fall at his feet, and he switches them and his personal assistants constantly.
But somebody close to him has had enough of his wild behavior...
Just when Ben is scrambling to finish a work project so he can leave for a lengthy vacation, someone close to him decides to make a profound change in his behavior using a dubious, non-conventional therapeutic process. Ben wakes up in a strange place with his mind foggy, hands bound behind his back, legs cuffed, eyes blind-folded, and wearing only his Aikido pants.
Who could have done this to him?
Ben goes crazy trying to figure out how he could have ended up this way. Who did this? His good friend, Fred, who wants him to learn to start making better choices? His father finally trying to discipline him? His mythical ex-girlfriend, Tina, who wants to rekindle their relationship? Somebody more sinister with ulterior motives?

So I started this book thinking that it was going to be a typical bad boy meets good girl and falls in love and they live happily ever after... Well, no, it's not. In the beginning, Ben is a horrible human being who treats everyone he encounters like they are beneath him; Whether it's his best friend, one of the many women that he's stringing along, or just some random guy in a restaurant...he's an equal opportunity bad person. Enter Shira, his personal assistant who seems like some meek little mouse that he can steam roll over.. Again, wrong. Turns out she is hired to give him a treatment to turn him into a better person. It's a good premise but it's way too predictable. He doesn't want to change in the beginning, he resists and things don't go well..so he tries to play along then escape and things don't go well..so he finally changes and the treatment is a success. Sounds good, right? Wrong again..he turns into some mushy guy who can't function in the real world and needs her to tell him what to do.. He goes from being a horrible man to a weak useless man.. How does it end, you ask? Yup, another unexpected twist..cliffhanger. And unfortunately Im not sure I care enough to get the next book to see what happens..
Ben Brattler is 29 and feels he is at the top of the world. He is rich, women swoon before him, and he has a good job with his father but he is rude and thoughtless. Someone finally gets fed up with his derespectful behavior and decides to do something about it. Shira, who he thinks was hired as his personal assistant, is not who he thinks she is. When they finish with a big project Ben plans on taking a lengthy, exotic vacation. Ben's plans do not go accordingly and he finds himself a prisoner of Shira. She wants him to go through a treatment plan to change his behavior. She has been hired by someone who knows Ben but who? Will Ben come out of this a changed man? I had a bit of trouble getting into the story but became intrigued as I read. As I read the story went in a different direction than I thought but it is good. Not only is it a good story but it gives one pause to think about their own behavior and how others see you.
