Overview

Life has changed quickly for widow Marianne Freeman. Strangers on horseback who followed her on a mountain trail have turned everything in her world inside-out and upside-down. A man with vivid blue eyes, quiet strength, and a gentle touch has stormed her heart and her dreams. Two women who survived an attack on a wagon train have moved into her house and become very special friends. But she still lives in a county where the ruthless Ahab Hawthorne rules. And she has no idea which of the men and women who have swept into her world will stand with her against his threats and which will leave her to face his evil on her own.

I enjoyed reading. I did not mind at all this being a short story. Twenty one pages was fine for me.

Paid .99 for 21 pages which wasn't a full book but a sample. Not worth the money.

In "The Widow & The Preacher" the story of the widows continues. We will find out what happened to the red-haired woman. One man is responsible for many deaths. The lawmen are corrupt and the bad guys can continue to destroy ranches and people's lives. Then 9 handsome preachers ride into town and one of them is making one widow's heart beat faster... Will the preachers be able to bring a bit of peace to Cazadora? Murray Pura has a way to draw the reader into his stories. He definitely drew me in from the first page and I enjoyed every word he wrote in this volume. I hated to see it end. Looking forward to the next volume!
