Love is always the perfect gift...

Nabi dedicated his life to learning the security trade from one of the best and now Nabi has established an amazing career as an elite soldier and investigator for Rahmi's Royal Family in the small town of Keeneston, Kentucky. However, his pursuit of the perfect career left him with little time to find love. He longs to start a family as he watches his mentor's children, Abigail and Kale, come into their own. When Nabi wakes for yet another birthday alone, he decides it's time to do something about it.

Kindergarten teacher Grace Duvall thought she'd never get a second chance at love. Just as she was ready to give up, fate stepped in. Fate, or Abigail Mueez as she's known around Keeneston, has something else in mind for this sweet teacher. With a little help from Abby and her friends, a pitcher of spiked sweet tea, and some breaking and entering, Nabi and Grace are on the verge of discovering their own happily-ever-after?

The book was ok, I really like her books but this one was disappointing with only 88 pages for $2.99.

Disappointed.  That is the only word that comes to mind.  I had no clue who Nabi or Grace really were and didn't care about their whirlwind romance.  The book was more of an introduction to the kids and a setup for future novels.  It would have been so much better if the characters were more developed, especially Nabi and Grace.  At only 88 pages, there were huge holes in the plot that could have been filled and made it a much better book.  I hope the other books Kathleen is thinking about adding to the series are better than this one.  AJMcDowell

I love the world of Keeneston! I wish the book had been longer because the characters are so interesting. After all how many of your friends would break into your house to find out your dress and shoe size? I am looking forward to reading the Rose Sisters' story.

Been waiting for Nabi story, the longest running bet at Blossom Cafe.  His meddler came in the form of his 15 yr. old hacker pupil. Abby put together a perfect gift with the insight of Cassidy and the crew over some Rose sister sweet tea. YES, Nabi and Grace didn't know what hit them. It was more than the "special" tea heavy on the bourbon that was delivered. I can't wait to see who will be next but it looks like the fairy godmothers are in store for their HEA.  HMMM... we never know in Keeneston. Anything is possible

I enjoyed the story and was very glad Nabi found someone. I did think the story was rushed and would have been better if it had more to it. I do hope to see a book about Ryan and Sienna soon. I loved reading all of Kathleen's books.

A good story overall and an excellent transition to the Bluegrass Series/Brothers offspring. I have read the whole series recently and still got confused about who came from who and thus related to whom.

I love the people and the stories of Keeneston, KY and Ms. Brooks is a grand story teller... This is a very short (88 nook pages) but complete story of Nabi and Grace... Loved it and the connection with the people from the previous books in the series... Hope there are more books to come... Have read all of Ms Brooks and recommend them highly. She is a gifted writer.

As with all K.B.'s books I was in stitches with happy tears streaming freely by the time I was done. But where I found it was a good read (I love the childrens interactions) I would have enjoyed more on Nabi and Grace. It felt rushed and wasn't laid out as well as it could have been. Cross could have caused problems or so on to make it longer and more involved. As is I fell in love with the kids but feel jipped when it comes to the main chracters. With that being said...... I love Keenston and all it's rowdy residence. One opps can be overlooked. Keep writing!

Really enjoyed this short story. It was a good way to introduce all the millions of kids and for me to try and keep straight. I love all the characters in these books. Can't wait for more books. I've read all her books and love to find out when the new ones are released.

Another great book by Kathleen. Full of laughs. Love those Rose sisters & their 'special' sweet tea! The imagination of how all the girls' fathers keep track of them & their safety when they started dating had me laughing so hard. It was good to see how much Nabi has loosened up since the previous books. I love the way that all the kids are so close & protective. Abby did great along with the rest of the kids at setting Nabi & Grace up, they're a perfect couple. The kids are following in their mothers' footsteps with matchmaking, especially Abby. Great set up for both the upcoming Rose sisters book & the future kids' books. Be sure to read all her Bluegrass books from Keeneston, KY. They're all great reads! - LThompson
