Hot romance is the cure for heartbreak in this sequel to The Vincent Boys.

Getting a boy to fall head-over-heels in love with you isn’t easy. Especially when he’s been in love with your cousin for as long as you can remember.

Lana has lived her life in her cousin’s shadow. Ashton always made perfect grades, had tons of friends, and looks model-perfect. And she’s always had Sawyer Vincent—the only boy Lana’s ever wanted—wrapped around her finger. But now things are different. Lana has a chance to make Sawyer see her, and she’s taking it. If only he’d get over Ashton—because Lana is sick of second-best.

Sawyer’s heart is broken. He’s lost his best girl to his best friend. And then Lana comes to town. Ashton’s cousin has always been sweet and soft-spoken, but now she’s drop-dead gorgeous as well. Sawyer doesn’t know if Lana can heal his broken heart, but spending time with her might at least make Ashton jealous.

What starts as a carefree fling becomes a lusty game of seduction. Sawyer and Lana may have different motives, but their scintillating hookups are the same kind of steamy. . . .

Sigh.... I don't even know how to write this review, y'all. I mean, I am a pool of goo. If you know me very well, you know I am a huge fan of Abbi Glines' books. Huge. I loved THE VINCENT BOYS and when Abbi told me she was writing another Vincent boys book, I'm pretty sure my squeals were heard miles away. The number one thought I had when I started reading the book was, "Can Sawyer carry a book as well as Beau?". Beau Vincent, he's a tough act to follow. Beau and Sawyer are opposites in every way. Beau is full of swagger *swoon*, but Sawyer has a quiet demeanor. Beau is openly passionate about Ash, Sawyer is more reserved. Beau likes to drink and live it up, Sawyer goes to parties but doesn't drink much. All that may lead you to believe Sawyer is boring. I mean, I thought he was a big snooze in THE VINCENT BOYS. Ohhhhhh, how I was wrong. I should have known better. It's always the quiet ones who end up catching you by surprise, isn't it? I'm absolutely not going to give anything about this book away, but when I think about Sawyer...*shivers*. I had the same issue with Lana McDaniel. Ash's cousin was in THE VINCENT BOYS long enough for me to think I knew her. Lana thought Ash was crazy for leaving Sawyer for Beau. She thought Ash was handling everything wrong, and let her know it. All I thought about Lana was "What a buzzkill." Again, I was wrong. I only knew Lana from Ash's perspective. I was caught off guard by how quickly I began to love her. Lana is great. She's so strong, so forgiving, so loving. Sawyer and Lana together. Gahhhh. I don't know how Abbi does it. There are some scenes that were so steamy, I had to stick my head in the freezer. And the funny thing is, the scenes aren't "graphic" at all. Or maybe I'm just easy, I dunno. Anyhow, it's good stuff. Here's the deal. When Abbi sent me this book, I freaked out. I was so excited. One of my BFF's Autumn (from Autumn Review) and I read the book "together",which consists of DMs and texts since we live hours away from one another. We both stayed up until 3:30am reading THE VINCENT BROTHERS. As soon as we woke up the next morning, we started talking about the book again. Then, we talked on the phone for an hour that afternoon about all the little things that hit us so hard. I actually teared up when we were talking about it. I guess my point is, Abbi Glines' books have a special quality about them that resonates with me so deeply. I've called it her "special sauce". I can't tell you exactly what it is, but I know I'm going to find it each time I open her books. And that feeling, it is worth everything when it comes to reading. Bottom Line: If you loved THE VINCENT BOYS, you will certainly love THE VINCENT BROTHERS. Favorite Quotes: " 'You think I'm a better choice than Beau? He's the bad one, you know. The dangerous one. Girls like bad boys.' His voice had dropped to a low rumble. I shivered as he took another step closer, his eyes never leaving their study of my lips. It had been awhile since I'd reapplied lip gloss. I wondered if they were dry. Forcing myself to remain calm, I responded, 'Not all girls.' " (pg 21, eARC)

Once again Abbi has almost burned my kindle. Holy heck can she write. When I dived into the Vincent Brothers I was not really sure what to expect. Though I'm a fan of Beau and Ash, I think I am now more in love with Lana and Sawyer. The Vincent Brothers was a great book. I couldn't put it down, which lead to a late night and some very strong coffee this morning. I was happy to see Sawyer move on and see what was right in front of him. I absolutely adored Lana and I was rooting for her all the way. Now I can't say Sawyer didn't pee me off at one or two points but he more than makes up for it in the end. What a guy. I loved seeing him go from being a boy who was shy and didn't go after what he wanted to a man who fought for the girl he loved. He earned his way into Lana's heart and I have no doubt he is there to stay. Lana, my heart wept for you. Such a trying time in your life. Lana, who has held herself together and never complained about her life finds herself wanting to open up to Sawyer. She has spent her entire life playing second best to everyone and now in The Vincent Brothers it is time for her to take centre stage. I was cheering her on the whole way. Never once did I think she would fail. Lana is a girl who has been overlooked one too many times. Now with a makeover and a boost in self confidence she cuts herself a path leading right to Sawyer Vincent. This boy had no idea what is about to hit him. I loved how she decided to go after what she wanted, and wow did she win in the end. Sawyer plays a different role in The Vincent Brothers compared to The Vincent Boys. In the first one you can't help but feel sorry for him, he is the victim after all. But deep down I never really believed that he loved Ash the way he should. He was just a boy who really didn't know what he wanted. Now that he has matured with the breakup of him and Ash he is finally seeing other possibilities. Yeah I can say there are moments in the book when I wanted to smack him in the head with my Kindle but alas I resisted and kept reading. But I was equally as annoyed at Ash for her stupidity, sometimes people just don't think and unfortunately others get hurt because of it. In the end I am totally TEAM SAWYER! I loved the story Abbi has written, she is just amazing. Yes, I'm gushing again about Ms. Glines, but I can't help it. She is just THAT good! The Vincent Brothers had a good story with characters you just have to love. The Sexy scenes were hotter than hot, seriously they almost melted my e-reader. The combination of sexy Sawyer, luscious Lana, their romance and "those" scenes made for one steamy read. I loved everything about it. Once again Abbi has done it. Grab a copy, trust me, you know you want to.

When I heard that there was going to be a sequel to The Vincent Boys, I was very excited. I fell in love with both of the Vincent boys, Beau and Sawyer, but I was happy to know that they would both get a happy ending because in the first one, they didn’t really. I knew I wanted this book right away, and I could not put it down. The Vincent Brothers starts off right where The Vincent Boys left off. I was very happy to get Sawyers side of the story. A lot of stuff went down in the end of the last book and there was a lot left to question, which was answered in this book. I have to say, Sawyer acted a heck of a lot like Beau in this book. But damn, he sure was hot. I didn’t know Sawyer had all of this animal inside of him from the impression I got of him from the first book. He seemed so reserved and like a “goody goody” type I guess you could say. That was not at all what he was like here. He was still sweet, caring Sawyer, but with a sex appeal, that very much rivaled Beau’s. I like that Lana got a makeover in this book. Not that she wasn’t pretty or anything like that, but Abbi sexed her up a bit and I liked seeing a character take charge like that. Go after what she wanted. Again, very different from the last book. My impression of Lana in the last book was nothing like she is in this book. I loved the change. This book has a lot of sexual teenage tension, something a lot of us can relate to, lol. But the biggest thing is this book was the love between Sawyer and Lana, even though it took awhile for them to realize it, when you were reading about them together, you could feel their love for each other. Even right now as I think about it, I get goosebumps. I absolutely LOVED this book. I laughed, and I cried, it thrilled me and made me mad, this book struck every emotion I had, and it was the perfect ending. I loved it!!

Did you really think Sawyer was just going let Beau and Ashton waltz into Happily Ever After with a smile on his face? Me either. After a quick refresher of how The Vincent Boys ended the story picks up six months after Beau and Ashton start their relationship with Sawyer's blessing. Sawyer doing the right thing by setting the girl he loved free was the hardest thing he'd ever done. It never got easy for him to see his brother with Ashton. Beau and Sawyer still came to blows at times. Sawyer had no idea the real love of his life was just waiting on her chance to catch his eye. Ashton's cousin Lana thought six months was plenty of time for Sawyer to get over Ashton. And it appeared at first that she was right. Sawyer quickly noticed Lana and things were going better than Lana hoped until Ashton needed Sawyer. He jumped at the chance to be there for his ex instead of holding Lana when she really needed him. After more disappointments and the continued neglect of her parents not putting her feelings first, Lana turned to her friend Jewel to hide her away from everyone at her beach condo. Sawyer looses it when he realizes Lana had wanted him since they were kids and now he had lost her. Beau's wise insight on love made me swoon. He said "When you fall for the one that owns you, she'll be the only one that has the power to make you cry." I'm not one for giving away the ending to a great story so you'll have to take my advice and read this story. There is more than one happy ending. A big one that was like a gift I couldn't have expected. Thank you Abbi for the added happiness you gave to Beau and his Father. The Vincent Brothers is a must read.

My summary: Sawyer Vincent had everything he ever wanted a few months ago. Ashton was his. But no longer. She belonged to Beau and while Sawyer not fought for her that didn't mean he didn't want her back. It had been months, though, and it was time to move on. A distraction, he needed to be distracted from seeing Ash in Beaus arms all the time. Just such a distraction walks into his life when Lana, Ash's cousin, showed up for the summer. And boy had she changed since the last time Sawyer had seen her- she was smokin' hot!! He could have a summer fling then leave for college. But Lana may have her heart set on more than a fling with Sawyer. She's tired of being everyone's second choice. While she's loved Sawyer for years, she hopes that he's over Ash and she can have a chance with him. But is Sawyer over Ash and can Lana become more than just a distraction? My Thoughts: 5 stars - LOVED my boy Sawyer <------ Yummy Sawyer So to prove my point, let me introduce you to Sawyer. Yeah, that boy needs to be happy and that is NOT how this book starts. Picking up a few months after The Vincent Boys, Sawyer is still struggling to deal with losing Ashton. He avoids seeing them together and can't stop his jealousy. My heart ached for him. I already loved Ashton and Beau from the first book but didn't really know Sawyer very well. I found that I loved him more than Beau. His internal struggle seemed so real to me. He made some very male decisions that he regretted almost immediately but his heart was real. Lana was a very strong and, frankly, brave to go after Sawyer when she'd seen him love Ash their whole life. Broken and pushed to second or third place by her family, Lana needed something more. I was impressed with her willingness to understand and forgive. It revealed just how strong her troubled life had made her. The story is a clash between what these two think they want verses what they really feel. I loved the dynamics of that clash. Abbi does a brilliant job of giving us the yummy scenes mixed with the turmoil of actual hurting hearts. It felt real for me. It one point, I couldn't read fast enough to find out what was gonna happen. I needed to see the resolution. I raced through the last 1/3 of the book. I've gone back and re-read parts just to soak up the yumminess that is reading an Abbi book. If you've read The Vincent Boys, then this book needs to move to the top of your TBR list. If you haven't had the pleasure, then get started on this fabulous two book series.

I really enjoyed this book but their were a lot of grammar mistakes. Sawyer was surprisingly super sexy and i totally loved the character lana. If you read the vincent boys then this book is a must read. However, i did find some of the conversations shared between lana and sawyer a little unbeleivable. I mean, their supposed to be normal teenagers not freakin poets! anyways it was a good book with a satisfying ending so u should buy it.

Who would of thought that sensitive and all round nice guy Sawyer would turn out to be irresistibly sexy and so damn appealing. He definitely puts meaning into "good guy turned bad" RAWR! I was panting and had to constantly hide myself under the covers away from my husbands eyes, as I felt myself flushing very often while reading the many scenes told from both Sawyers and Lana's POV's. It was exhilarating, and intoxicating, and heated, and steamy, and passionate, and tender, and sweet, and beautiful and AMAZING! The Vincent Brothers continues on 6 months after The Vincent Boys. Sawyer is still devastated, and angry and hurt by the betrayal of his girlfriend Ash, who fell head of heels in love with Beau, who he found out is no longer his cousin, but his brother. He could no longer watch there constant public display of affection and it gutted him to no avail. He's life was ruined, and he blamed them. Then in walks in Lana, Ash's cousin. But Lana isn't the same skinny red haired that played with them when they were young. Practically, overnight, she blossomed into this vivacious, beautiful and HOT young woman who was out for one thing that summer, and that was to try and win Sawyer's heart. You see, all her life she secretly loved and wanted Sawyer for herself. And now was her chance, since Ash decided she rather Beau the bad Vincent boy (who still is so bad to me even though he had been tamed). Anyways, Sawyer was totally taken aback by Lana's transformation and he couldn't help but feel attracted and drawn to her, and this is where all the fun started with Sawyers new bad self. Oh my word. The way he would whisper in her ear, or try and lace his fingers through hers, or just touch her in such a tender and passionate way totally drive Lana and myself insane. Lana was running a fever that Sawyer created and he did not want to stop. And just when you think that things are going great for them, Sawyer runs off to be there for Ash, whenever she needs him to be. Thus tearing a whole in Lana's heart, again and again and again. Man did I get frustrated. I wanted to smack him, and Ash and Beau over the head. I felt so sorry for Lana because she was suffering for their drama. But you couldn't have a story about The Vincent Boys/Brothers without the drama, and the heat, and the love, and the passion, and the lust, and the sensual and tender moments. I loved it! I love this whole series and am so happy with the ending. Love, love, love Sawyer and Lana, and Ash and Beau, you saucy devil you RAWR! I highly recommend everyone to read this book, especially if you loved The Vincent Boys and love Abbi Glines like I do!

My Summary: Six months has past since Ashton broke Sawyer Vincent's heart. He's really trying to move past it, but every time he sees them together, he wants to explode. Not only does that situation still have him all stirred up, but then Ashton's cousin Lana comes to town for the summer. Sawyer always got along with Lana, but never really thought of her much. Well, things have certainly changed. Not only has Lana become drop dead gorgeous, but Sawyer can't seem to get his mind or his hands off her. Sawyer seems to think that hooking up with Lana might be the perfect revenge against Ash, but he never expected to have feelings for her. Lana McDaniel has always envied her cousin Ashton. Not only does Ash have all the looks, but she's had BOTH Vincent boys wrapped around her finger. Lana didn't approve of how Ash handled her break-up with Sawyer, but she's not exactly sad that it happened either. She's always had a thing for Sawyer. This is the summer she's going to stand up and take a chance. She wants Sawyer bad, but she won't be second best either. My Take: Where to begin??? I suppose I'll start by saying that I had no idea what to expect when it came to Sawyer's story. I'm a true, dedicated, heart-throbbing fan of Beau's, so I wondered how Abbi Glines was going to make me fall in love with Sawyer. I didn't really like him in VB. I didn't even feel bad for him either. Well, I'm pleased to say, that Abbi did it. While I'd still pick Beau, I truly did fall in love with Sawyer Vincent. They are so different and I love them for different reasons, but MAN OH MAN! We certainly get inside his mind and let me just say, there's a lot going on in that head of his. I think what bothered me the most about Sawyer in the first book was that he didn't really see Ash. He had such an idealized version of what he wanted her to be, that he ignored who she really was. He wanted her to forget who she was when they were kids and she was close to Beau. He wanted to be her world. I get that to a point, but boy is that a sure fire way to lose a girl. Having said that, in this book, he does see the error of his ways and it really made sense to me why he felt that way about Ash. Another reason why I fell for him this time...he is sexy as sin. Seriously. I was shocked. I mean, he's a teenage boy, so naturally he has pervy thoughts, but I seriously considered putting ice down my shirt a few times to cool off. It's not even that the scenes were incredibly graphic, but the way that boy chooses his words could set a house on fire. My friend Andrea from The Bookish Babe and I were reading it together via texts and DM's and I believe there were a few times we BOTH had to step into the freezer. No lie. Then there's Miss Lana. We get the impression in the first book that there are some underlying feelings that she may have for Sawyer. She's always been the timid one behind Ash's more confident demeanor. Well, this summer everything has changed and she's going for the gold. I absolutely loved that she stepped out of her shell to go after what she wanted. Not only did she do that, but she also had the confidence not to let Sawyer walk all over her. She really was perfectly suited to what he needed. Truthfully, I could go on and on about this book and how amazing it was, but if you've ever read an Abbi Glines book, you already know that it is. As sad as I am that the Vincent Brother's tales are over, Abbi really tied it up beautifully. I needed to see some issues resolved and I felt that that was accomplished. Not to say that I wouldn't like an update story someday, because let's face it...can you ever really get enough of the Vincent Brothers???

I completly loved The Vincent Boys and that being said I was shocked on how easily my perspective changed on Beau and Ash. I downright did not like them in The Vincent Brothers, I didn't even see how Sawyer had such a bond with Ash, it took many mistakes on his part to break, I'm glad he got with Lana. I loved her charactor as much as I liked Ash in the first book. I guess it just goes to show you that some people aren't meant to be together and Abbi Glines did an excellent job in this book on showing us that. But now my heart loves both of the Vincent boys, for different reasons. I loved Beau's POV in the end too, I missed being inside his head! Good ending to this love triangle.

I absolutely loved this book!! I was really worried about this book at first because I love Beau so much, but it was nice reading Sawyer's point of view. To read about Sawyer overcoming his grief about Ashton and fall in love with Lana was incredible. He is an amazing character (but I still love me some Beau). I was real happy to read that Lana finally took a stand at the end and made Sawyer realize what he was doing. Great sequel!!

I have yet to read this book. But I am itching to do so! After reading "The Vincent Boys" I was hooked! I think the thing I am most excited to read about is how Sawyer overcomes his heartbreak. I felt bad for him in the first book, so I am excited to see how this will play out and hopefully get his Happily Ever After!

After reading the first book in this series, I was already looking forward to Sawyer and Lana's story. Sawyer is the golden child of the town, and I have to say, I liked seeing him all out of sorts when it came to Lana. And Lana's quite the little temptress, isn't she? She's not trashy though. Yet another fun romance by this author!
