Overview

I didn't realize how much I'd miss being human, until the day I died. Only, death for me wasn't the same as most. I am immortal. Legend has it that every so often someone like me emerges. They call it the Wrath.

When seventeen year old Stephenie Brown goes for a routine walk through her favorite park, she hardly expects to witness her parents' brutal murder-much less her own. With a fatal wound, she finds herself close to death, knowing the next breath she draws will be her last.

Or will it?

This is Stephenie's first encounter with the Wrath, an elusive curse that turns mortals into immortals. It's also her first encounter with seven others like her, including the mysteriously alluring Skyler. His hateful stares and malignancy should disgust her, but she only finds herself more intrigued. Question is, can Stephenie bring herself to trust Skyler? And how can she protect herself from a reality she never even knew existed? Time is of the essence, and though Stephenie doesn't completely understand the depths of her new life, she knows the answers lie within reach...and that knowing may be the worst curse of all.

I loved this book! Now I'm waiting for the second wrath. I bought it on my Kindle so I can re-read it before the next one! I enjoyed it so much that I bought a copy for my two nieces.

The Wrath, in my opinion, was a wonderful, quick and all around great read! The details were amazing as if I were in the book. I love books like this that are descriptive as if I could be put right into the fun of the story. Amber also put in some surprises where you have to ask yourself, "did that really just happen," or "was that really just said?" I cannot wait for another book written by this author.
