I picked this book up for an Easter read aloud for my grandchildren. They are 4, 3, and 16 months. The 4 and 3 year old loved the book and wanted it read many times. They liked the fact that they could help read it with the repeated words. Pictures were funny and colorful. Children love the "There was an old lady who" books. So do I.

I bought this book for my 4 year old grandson, not one he asked to have read over and over. We read a lot of books and this book did not engage him as much as I thought it would, I though he would ask a lot of questions, he didn't. I thought it was a cute book for Easter.
