Overview

Based on the best-selling novel series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin, A Game of Thrones: The Board Game Second Edition lets 3-6 players take control of the great houses of Westeros in an epic struggle to claim the Iron Throne.

The updated second edition brings a host of enhancements to your A Game of Thrones experience. It incorporates elements from previous expansions, including ports, garrisons, Wildling cards, and Siege engines, while introducing welcome new innovations. Convenient player screens will hide your underhanded dealings from prying eyes, while new Tides of Battle cards convey the uncertainty of war. This, along with updated graphics and a clarified ruleset, means the time has never been better to claim the Iron Throne.

For ages 14 and up.

Great game. Became one of my favorites.

Really needs to be played with 6 players, but it's one of my favorite board games in the 'takes a long time to play' category.

This game is fairly complex, and should be played 6 players to reach its full potential. While this does not bother me, teaching the rules to 6 people can be quite daunting if you or your friends are just getting into gaming. That being said, it is a good game strategy game that does not use dice, and gives players ample opportunity to back-stab your friends.

Excellent Game! Strategy game of the highest quality. Perfect for anyone who wants something a little like Risk but so much better. This game does take a while to learn and to play. You should always try to play with 6 people. Play only with people that have a thick skin or you may make some enemies =) Ignore any review under 4 or 5 stars as they have no clue what they are talking about. Enjoy!

We played this at a friend's house. I love the HBO show but this was mediocre entertainment.

Literally the most complicated board game in history.
