Overview

The King of the Monsters is back in S.H.MonsterArts! The titanic kaiju as seen in the 2019 film makes his debut, with all of the quality and detail you've come to expect from S.H.MonsterArts. It even includes effects to let you re-enact the dramatic scene from the preview in which he shoots his breath skyward! Based on the same 3D data used in the film itself, and overseen by the legendary sculptor Yuji Sakai, it features accurate proportions, details, and coloration. And it's designed to capture classic poses like the one seen on the poster! This is an epic new release in an epic figure series. The set includes the Godzilla figure, fire-breath effects, and stands for the effects.

Not Worth Your Time & Money......is what this figure is. Saw this for sale online & I was excited to go to the store in person to see it. Don’t be deceived by how this looks in the pictures online, take my word for it, ITS SMALL! Not only small but mini. It’s a mini figure. Not much more than if you bought a dinosaur toy figure, & they’re selling this for $70.00 + ? Can’t go into how “detailed” this is, as it’s so tiny what detail can there be? Here I was expecting a huge if not a decent “desk” size figure & when I showed up at B&N to see it in person & they brought it to me, my jaw dropped! This is no bigger than your iPhone for Pete’s sake. What a rip! I’m glad I took the time & trouble to check this out in person before I committed to anything. This is what the conversation is going to be if you happen to be the sucker that gets this. Them: “Hey!” You: “Hi”. Them: That’s a nice looking Godzilla toy that you got on your desk!” You: “It’s a highly detailed figurine, excuse you, not a toy”. Them: “Ohhh..OK. Uhhh..how much did it cost you? A few bucks?” You: “$70.00 with tax”. Them: “$70.00!? Are you kidding me? That looks like the dinosaur figures I I got from the $3.00 bin at Target. Are you high shelling out $70.00 for THAT!? You: “Well it’s plain to see there’s no accounting for taste.” Them: “Yeah I guess not”. Spare yourself this possible conversation & say “NO!” to this figure.

Excellent toy! I love the detail and effort put into Godzilla! However, when I unboxed the toy today, the tail fell off. In reviews and unboxings, The tail was on, however, mine wasn't? I assume it was either broken, or they failed to mention it. (I did manage to get the tail on.)
