Boats aren't really my thing, but this is bright and cheery with bouncy language -- just the thing for 2 and 3 year old boat fans.

Checked this book out at the library for my 11 month old and it was an instant hit. The story is short and sweet, making this a perfect anytime or bedtime read. The book has a nice rhythm and reading it with added high-pitched "toot toot"s and "scoot scoot"s makes it quite engaging. Plus, my little one enjoys identifying the rubber ducks, birds, boats, etc on every page. She begs to read this over and over again... book goes back to library tomorrow, but we will go to B&N to pick up our very own copy.

I bought Tugga-Tugga Tugboat for my 2 1/2 year old Grandson and he loved it. It is a perfect bedtime story for this age group, the story is sweet and short but it's enough to capture a 2 1/2 year olds attention span. The illustrations are extremely vibrant. I would deffinately recommend this book.
