Most Helpful Customer Reviews
This book was such an encouragement. I found it to be a great reminder to focus more on God’s Word. He reminds us that there are deceivers out there. Then he points out the simple steps God has provided so that we are not lead astray by them. That what the first part of this book is about, encouraging us to study the Bible, in its entirety, for ourselves. He gives us a few ground rules for properly interpreting Scripture, as well. The next section helps us study that, much misunderstood and neglected portion of God’s Word, prophecy. He explains the basic approaches to interpretation and the varying theories about the order of events. The main goal is to get us to study it for ourselves, so there aren’t a lot of details. Instead, there are just the highlights or mountaintops included to guide us in our own study. The last section of this book is devoted to showing us why we should study Biblical prophecy. It shows us the motivation, joy, encouragement, and purification such a study brings us. I will recommend this book to every new believer or any believer that is wondering why prophecy should be important to them. It is wonderful. Please let me recommend it to you. I received this book as a free ARC through NetGalley and Harvest House Publishers. No favorable review was required. It was my pleasure to provide my honest opinions.
