IN THE DISTANT FUTURE, humans have long ago left Earth, but someone forgot to turn off a little robot named WALL•E, who goes about his chores day after day after day. When circumstances lead WALL•E off the planet and across the galaxy, he goes on the adventure of a lifetime with a starship full of people and robots. With a little luck, this rusty metal hero will save the day and win the love of a beautiful female robot named EVE! WALL•E proves that love is universal, whether your heart beats or beeps! This junior novelization features an embossed cover and 8 pages of full-color movie stills from the new hit Disney•Pixar film, WALL•E.

While we haven't seen the movie yet (3 more days!), we received this book as a birthday gift for my 6 year old son. He easily sat through it in one day. It is a full chapter book that covers lots of detail of the story. We enjoyed it.

Wall-e is a robot who helps clean the Earth. When he meets Eve, and she travels to space, where people do nothing, Eve brings a plant that shows that the Earth is safe to live on.

I very like the movie about it, so I decide to read it. It is a book on environmental topic. The hero of this book is a robot. Its name is Wall E. Everyday, Wall E cleans off the rubbish which human abandoned.Earth has no people to live. But, Wall E does not know it and work everyday. Someday, it finds a flower and begin to adventure. of course, the end of this book is a happy story. But, I think that more people should pay attention to environment.

I couldn't resist picking this book up when I saw it. Wall-E drawn in classic Little Golden Book style illustrations! Their attempt to explain the complex story to a small child with just a few words is amusing.
