Overview

A PERFECT MATCH…

Single mum Meg Remington isn't looking for another chance at love, but her teenage daughter, Lindsay, has other plans, so she places a personal ad on her mother's behalf. She's convinced Meg wants to remarry, whether she knows it or not. When it's answered by Steve Conlan, he actually seems…perfect!

Steve still isn't sure how he got himself into this mess. When his hopeless romantic sister told him she'd answered an ad in the paper posing as Steve, he'd been furious. But once he sets his eyes on Meg, he finds himself thinking maybe the date wasn't such a bad idea after all. Meg and Steve want to teach their matchmakers a lesson – if only they weren't really falling for each other.

This book made me smile! It was a light, comical, delightful story. I've enjoyed every book I have read by this author, and this one didn' t disappoint, either.

My thirteen year old could write a more compelling piece of literature. Save your money. Buy something else.

Wanted: Perfect Partner is the fifty-first stand-alone romance by popular American author, Debbie Macomber. While bookstore owner, Meg Remington is perfectly happy with her single mother status, it seems her fifteen-year-old daughter Lindsey, is not. Lindsey and her best friend Brenda decide to act, and soon Meg finds herself dining with Steve Conlan, owner of a local bodyshop, at a fancy restaurant. But is seems that while Meg didn’t place the Lonely Hearts ad, neither did Steve answer it. Steve’s younger sister, Nancy is sure to have a hand in this. Steve’s brilliant plan to teach the interfering young ladies a lesson backfires, with some hilarious results. A sweet, fun romance from the queen of feelgood.

I usually love Debbie's books but this seemed like it was written in two days by a teenager. Absolutely no substance or plot. I should receive a refund. Come on Debbie, your readers deserve better.
