About the Author
I live in a small riverside city in the West Kootenays called Trail. My home is nestled at the foot of a forest in British Columbia and here I live with my amazing family, an array of pets, and a thirst to live a green and organic life. I began my life cleaning teeth and realized soon after that dentistry was not the field for me. I enjoy hiking, camping, canoeing and learning as much as I can about our natural world. I have always enjoyed writing but it wasn't until I met an elder who lived in Fort St. John when I started seriously pursing my dream of becoming a successful author. This elder encouraged me to write down the stories I would share by mouth and so began the series, "Legends of the Forest"I received the "Richard Carver Award" for the best and newest upcoming author.Adam YoungAdam Young is an artist, illustrator and teacher.
