I just love this book. I have called my granddaughter my little love bug since she was born, and she is now 2. I bought her a cute little bug (which is her love bug) and now I can't wait to get this book and read it to her.... I have also shared it with other parents and grandparents, and they too just love it... more will be sold soon....

This book is a tickle to the soul -- it delights infants with its bright pictures, tunes, and blinking lights, and adults with the sweetness of the sentiment. I can't imagine a more wonderful book as a gift to a newborn or young child. And, it warms my heart to think of a parent reading these sweet words to their child. Highly recommended.

This is an enchanting book. Our first copy was enjoyed by six grand- children and became quite 'chewed upon." When our seventh blessing came to us I decided to invest in a new copy. Looking forward to many hours of enjoyable interaction with our new addition. You can't go wrong with this book!

Based on the good reviews, I purchased this online for my niece's 1st b-day. When it arrived, I was impressed with the sturdy pages, colorful images & very cute rhyming prose. I couldn't have been happier than after reading the last page, which states: "You're everything that's wonderful/You're all of the above!/But most of all/What you are/Is God's sweetest gift of love!" My niece was born 11 weeks premature w/many complications, so these words really resonated w/me & just "fit" in celebrating how far she's come in the past year. As soon as you open the book, the music begins playing & the little lights around the heart light up & blink. Another sweet feature is the ability to personalize the book by including a photo in the slot where the heart peeks through the cover. The reason I don't give the book 5 stars is due to the fact that I wish there was an adjustable volume setting (low/high) or a mute option in which the lights blink w/o the music playing, as I thought the music was on the louder side, especially for infants/toddlers. Bottom Line: Yes, I would definiteAy recommend to a friend. This book makes a wonderful gift that teaches children just how much they are loved & can be personalized with a photo to delight your little bug!

I am an experienced daycare provider and I give books as gifts for the children's birthdays. I recently discovered Heidi Weimer's books. They have been an instant hit with both parent and child. Cute and personalized with the child's photo this is a most popular gift. Parents say the child continues to enjoy the book over and over.

This board book is great for young toddlers. The story is assuring and the illustrations are so colorful. I bought this for my grandson who was only 9 months old at the time. Even though he can't comprehend it yet, he does listen when we read to him. He loves holding the book and we don't need to worry about pages being torn. Most of all, he loves to see HIS picture in the book! It's a book he'll enjoy for a long time. Even after we stop reading to him, he'll enjoy reading it himself.

My daughter is in her freshman year in college. She's a bright young woman but she was delighted to receive this book with her picture enclosed. It brought back all those tender times when I'd call to her, 'come here my little love bug.' Whenever she misses mom she reads this book.

This book is so wonderful. My 13 month old wants have it read to her again and again. The pictures are adorable and the music is sweet but the actual story is what is wonderful. It really does a good job of telling a child in child words all the wonderful things that they are and how much you love them in a way that they understand

This book is wonderful. My 3 year old daughter must have this book read to her everynight before bed, and my 10 month old son loves the lights and sounds of the book. As a Mom I highly recommend it, it is adorable!

My daughter loves this book so much I am buying another one to keep in her diaper bag. Her little angel face lights up every time she opens it and sees the lights and hears the sweet song. I love it too.

This is one of the most delightful books I have read to my grandson. He loves the music and lights. The words are so expressive of our love for our children.

I bought this book almost 6 years ago for my little girl, who was 6 mos. at the time and she is now turning 6 yrs old. She loves this book, but the battery is wearing out and we can't get the screw out of the back to replace the battery. Any suggestions??? Would be greatly appreciated.

I LOVE this book. I got it for my almost 3 year old son for Valentine's Day. It's great. You get to put a pic of your little one on the cover, it lights up and plays a nice little tune when opened. The music will shut off after the song's done (about 45 seconds, maybe). If you want to restart it, you have to close & open book again. There's no volume control or off & on switch for the music. It's got cute little rhyming phrases about all the possible nicknames a parent could have for his/her child. And it even refers to all good things like "watermelon bubblegum" that having a child is so much better than! The one thing that kind of annoyed me was the very last line says something about being "God's little gift." As a nonreligious parent raising a child, I was a bit annoyed to see that. As I know I'm in the minority as far as my beliefs, when I read it to my son, I say "Mommy's" little gift. Overall, it's a great book.
